Playing - Age Limit Not Required
Thursday Jun 06, 2024
Thursday Jun 06, 2024
Stacey and Morgan are back on the couch this week to chat about how playing can spice up your life! They talk about how engaging in hobbies as adults offers numerous benefits beyond pure enjoyment - our health, mood, well being etc.
When we try new activities, we activate our creativity, engage our senses, and stimulate our minds. They remind us that aging is about the life in your years and not the years in your life, so why do we feel like trying new things has an age limit?
With personal anecdotes and infectious humor, they emphasize the joy that comes from stepping out of our comfort zones and trying new hobbies. They chat about new hobbies they started in their 30s and how relationships can impact how you prioritize your hobbies (obviously kids do too but that’s different!).
They also chat about how trying new things and continuing to play can strengthen your romantic relationship and fosters communication between partners. Tune in for inspiration, laughter, and a reminder that life is more colorful when we embrace playfulness, both solo and with your favorite adventure buddy! If you enjoy it, please leave us a review wherever you listen to your podcasts!
